Import bookmarks, Pocket, Instapaper or Raindrop into Notion — with the full text

Most of us have hundreds of saved links: a bookmarks bar that grew for years, a Pocket account (Pocket shut down in July 2025, so many people downloaded an export and never opened it), Instapaper or Raindrop collections. Importing them into Notion as links is easy but not very useful: a title and a URL can't be searched, quoted or read when the site disappears. This guide moves them in with the article text.

1. Get your links out

2. Prepare the Notion database

Create a database (for example Reading archive) with a Name title and a URL property. Optional: Author (text), Excerpt (text), Published (date), Clipped (date) — they are filled when the page provides them. Share the database with Full Clip when you connect Notion.

3. The free way: Notion's own import, links only

Notion can import a CSV as a database. You get one row per link with the title and URL — fast, free, but without any article text. Good enough for a list you'll triage; not an archive.

4. With Full Clip: one page per link, full text

  1. Click the Full Clip icon → Save many pages at once…
  2. Choose the file you exported (or paste links, or use your open tabs). Full Clip shows how many pages it found and removes duplicates; for bookmarks you can pick a single folder.
  3. Choose the database and keep Skip pages already in this database ticked.
  4. Press Start and allow Full Clip to open the sites in the list. It works one page at a time in a background tab and closes it. You can pause, close Chrome, and resume later.

Pages that have no readable article — a paywall, a web app, a video — are saved as a link with a note, so nothing is silently dropped. The first 10 pages are free to try; Pro (€24 once) does the rest.

Tips

Does my list or my reading history go to your servers?

No. The file is read inside your browser and each page goes straight from your browser to Notion. Privacy policy.
